They were on sale at Rue Lala and if you're familiar with their sales, they only have a very limited amount of colors and sizes available for sale at a given time. So when I saw this gorgeous girly neutral available in my size, I simply had to buy them. I received them today, my third pair of Valentino rockstuds...in rose poudre!

After falling head over heels in love with my first pair of Valentino rockstud kitten heels, I knew it wouldn't be long before I got my second pair. When I saw these beauties for sale on eBay by a lovely seller from Quebec (who purchased them at Holt Renfrew), my heart jumped when I saw that they were my size! I clicked "Buy It Now" immediately and I just got them in the mail today...these oh-so-coveted pair of Valentino red python rockstuds!

Valentino Noir Black Rockstud Slingbacks 65 - Neiman Marcus

As I walked into Neiman Marcus, I was heading for the Chanel boutique and got sidetracked by the Valentino display in the shoe department. There it was, my UHG (Ultimate Holy Grail) of shoes...the Valentino Noir rockstud slingback pump! Completely forgetting about Chanel for the moment, I let myself loose trying on various styles of Valentino shoes...the kitten heel rockstuds, high heel rockstuds, flats, gladiator sandals and so on. The only style that my wide feet fell in love with was the kitten heel rockstud slingback pumps, so I decided to get those in black on black from the Valentino Noir collection.
