Valentino Noir Black Rockstud Slingbacks 65 - Neiman Marcus

As I walked into Neiman Marcus, I was heading for the Chanel boutique and got sidetracked by the Valentino display in the shoe department. There it was, my UHG (Ultimate Holy Grail) of shoes...the Valentino Noir rockstud slingback pump! Completely forgetting about Chanel for the moment, I let myself loose trying on various styles of Valentino shoes...the kitten heel rockstuds, high heel rockstuds, flats, gladiator sandals and so on. The only style that my wide feet fell in love with was the kitten heel rockstud slingback pumps, so I decided to get those in black on black from the Valentino Noir collection.

Nail Polish Wall Rack from Amazon

I just received this new Nail Polish Wall Rack from Amazon last week, which has 6 rows of shelves and holds up to 100 bottles of nail polish. Although I currently own less than 50 bottles of nail polish, I am planning ahead. At the rate I've been buying nail polish lately, I should have no problem doubling my collection and filling my nail polish rack by the end of 2014. I used to be mostly a pink, red and purple girl, but now I'm really starting to love blue, green and even orange polish colors!

Here's a close-up photo showing the bottom 3 shelves I've managed to fill so far:

Clinique Skin Care & Dark Spot Corrector

Today is the first day I'm trying the Clinique Skin Care 3-Step System along with the Clinique Dark Spot Corrector. My local Nordstrom had the big bottles of the Daily Cleanser and Toner in stock, so I went ahead and purchased them along with the Dark Spot Corrector, Moisturizing Gel and Sunscreen to begin my long overdue skin care regimen for my combination/oily skin. I am using the Spa Sonic (purchased from Costco) to exfoliate my skin using the Daily Cleanser.

Below is a close-up photo of the dark spot on my face that I'd like to get rid of. During the next couple of months, I'll be posting photo updates to show how well the Clinique Dark Spot Corrector is working for me.

Tiffany & Co. Small Leather Goods (SLGs)

Last night, I walked into Tiffany & Co. looking for a bracelet to accompany my new Hermès Clic Clac H in the coveted "Lagon (Lagoon)" color with palladium hardware. I found a perfect match: the Return To Tiffany Bead Bracelet in Amazonite (8mm size).

The helpful salesman at Tiffany & Co. put it on for me and I really loved how it looks stacked with my Lagon Clic Clac H and a few of my bling bracelets. Needless to say, I just had to have it and this gorgeous amazonite bracelet came home with me!

Unfortunately, when I tried to put my new Tiffany & Co. amazonite bead bracelet on the next morning...I just couldn't do it! Even though I have 6" wrists and the bracelet is 7.5" long, I simply was not able to fasten the bracelet because the beads are set close together, making the bracelet stiff. Sadly, I knew I had to return it so I went back to Tiffany & Co. that same afternoon...which is when I discovered that they also carry a delightful selection of small leather goods!

As soon as I left Tiffany & Co. I was so excited to start using my new purchases that I walked next door to Starbucks Coffee to open my little blue boxes. :)
